Subcontractor Network · HYKOR LLC

Work with HYKOR.

HYKOR coordinates long-haul fiber optic construction across the Midwest. We work with qualified field contractors — boring, plowing, conduit placement, fiber placement, and restoration — under written agreements and project-specific work orders.

[ 01 ] How It Works

Simple process. Clear expectations.

HYKOR manages client relationships, project coordination, work orders, documentation, and closeout. You provide the field capability. Every engagement starts with a signed MSA and a project-specific work order — no work without written authorization.

[ 04 ] FAQ

Common questions.

What subcontractors typically ask before applying.

No. The HYKOR Master Subcontract Agreement does not guarantee any minimum volume of work, revenue, duration, or exclusivity. Work is issued project-by-project via written work orders as opportunities arise. Subcontractors are added to our network and assigned work based on availability, geography, capability, pricing, performance history, and project fit.
HYKOR is active across seven Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Iowa. Subcontractors don't need to operate in all seven — we match work assignments to your geography, equipment, and availability. If you operate in one or more of these states, we want to hear from you.
Payment terms are defined in each work order and the MSA. Invoices must be supported by approved quantities, field documentation, photos, and lien waivers. HYKOR reviews and approves invoices against the work order before processing. Payment timing is generally aligned with client payment terms where commercially appropriate. We do not pay for unauthorized work or unsupported quantities.
Documentation requirements are specified in each work order. At minimum, expect to provide GPS as-built records, bore logs (for HDD work), progress and restoration photos, OTDR test results (for fiber placement), compaction or mandrel test results as applicable, and lien waivers with each invoice. Complete documentation is required before final billing on every project — this is non-negotiable.
HYKOR works with LLCs, corporations, and sole proprietors. You must be properly organized and authorized to do business in the states where you will perform work, carry the required insurance in your legal entity name, and sign the MSA as an authorized representative. A valid W-9 and EIN are required before onboarding.
Onboarding moves as fast as your documents do. Once you submit the application, we'll follow up to request insurance certificates and endorsements, your W-9, and any additional information we need. After we verify everything and both parties execute the MSA, you're in the network and eligible for work order assignments. Typically 1–2 weeks if documents are in order.
